In seven years of summer living, with the art studio above the arches of the Medieval Lavatoio, I bring back memories of many friends. Paolo and Rita, a Cinderella from the mountains and a prince from Palermo, Santi and Brigitte, two angels on earth, Nino Cerrito, a footballer who lived in Milan but his return to Cefalù horrified him with its backwardness. So many happy moments spent together. I can't forget, however, that the municipality and the local finance department gave me two illegal fines. I discovered that government agencies were oppressing citizens. Bitterness spares no one.
